Your counselor will meet with you and your child for an initial assessment to help determine the nature of the problem. After the initial consultation your counselor will explain the various options and counseling techniques available to help your at-risk youth. Then we will help in tailoring a program specific to your needs, either through one-on-one therapy sessions, group counseling, 3rd party retreats, rehab or a combination of these.   Divorce & Abandonment Divorce and abandonment are epidemic in American culture today. Nobody feels the impact of this more than kids do. As a result of these life shaking events many teens begin to experience problems that will follow them into their adult years if not addressed properly. Getting help can prevent long-term problems.   Foster Care and DYS Our experience with the Missouri foster care system and Division of Youth Services (DYS) enables us to understand and help families involved with these services. We accept medicaid allowing us to work with foster care families to help kiddos experience healing in this difficult time in their life.
